Charity Mack holds an M.A. in Government from Regent University, a B.S. in Political Science from Old Dominion University, and an Associate in Social Sciences from Tidewater Community College. She purposely chose some secular colleges to test what she received through the gift of homeschooling and a Christian spiritual upbringing. Charity found it proved solid, and when faced with opposing worldviews, she learned not only to see the lies but how to offer mercy, truth, and love while still being humble enough to learn (but not necessarily agree) from those around her. In professional fields, she has worked for government contractors, Regent University’s School of Education, and a Christian nonprofit organization, Reaching Unreached Nations (RUN), where she assisted with anti-human trafficking awareness and global evangelism to unreached people groups. She has homeschooled her three children since 2013 and welcomed her niece and nephew into their homeschool tribe in 2020. Charity also loves teaching kids about Jesus and how exciting His Word is and has been teaching Sunday School at her church since 2000 to 1st-5th graders. Charity hopes to inspire students to view the world with a Christian Worldview that will equip them to navigate today’s cultural complexities and misdirection. Traveling to many countries in her youth and adulthood has also helped her understanding of Jesus’ love for this world. Different cultures, religions, and family traditions might make sharing His love harder, but with His Holy Spirit, miracles happen. She loves being the hands and feet to whatever He throws her way, and she hopes to instill that in others, too. A native of Virginia Beach, Charity likes to kayak, tailor clothing (especially bridal), write novels, and walk her Long-haired German Shepherd, Brambleton.
